Jelmer van Son

I'm a filmmaker and cinematographer who's always learning. I believe the best work comes from constantly asking why. Why this shot, why this angle, why this light? I love using new technology, but only when it helps tell the story in a more powerful and meaningful way.

I love working on all kinds of projects, from commercials to experimental films, and I always try to focus on making sure the story really connects with the audience.

I’m based in Arnhem, but happy to work anywhere in the Netherlands or travel internationally for the right project. I'm always open to new collaborations and exploring different ways to tell stories.
